St. Peter’s School reopens for grades one through nine Wednesday morning. Buses leave communities at the regular time to arrive for 8:35. Kindergarten parents are asked to attend a meeting Wednesday afternoon at 1:30. Kindergarten students begin Thursday morning.
Davis Elementary opens for grades one through five Wednesday. Kindergarten parents are asked to attend a meeting Wednesday morning at 11:00. Kindergarten students begin Thursday. There is no catering service available on the first day. Also, the breakfast and microwave programs are not available until coordinators and volunteers are in place.
Persalvic opens for grades one through nine Wednesday morning. Buses begin their regular run at 8:00. There’s a kindergarten parent meeting Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 and kindergartens begin Thursday (red group in the morning and blue group in the afternoon). Canteen service is available, but the hot lunch program will not begin until Monday. Students should note that the bus stop on the main highway at Bottom Loop Road is moved to the main highway at Antle’s Road for this school year.
Grades one through six at Acreman Elementary begin Wednesday morning at 8:45. Buses leave Cavendish and Hopeall at 8:00. The school breakfast program and microwave duty begin Monday, September 20. Milk and ice cream are available at the canteen. There is a meeting for parents of kindergarten students at Acreman Elementary Wednesday afternoon at 2:00. Kindergarten classes begin Thursday morning at 8:45.
Wednesday is a regular day for grades one through nine at Holy Redeemer. Kindergarten students start Thursday. A meeting for kindergarten parents is being held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 in the school library. Full canteen service is available. There is only a limited cafeteria service for the first week.
Grades one through three at Coley’s Point Primary begin Wednesday for a full day. Students are asked to bring a packed recess and lunch. There are no kindergarten classes Wednesday. Kindergarten parents are to attend a meeting Wednesday night at 7:00 in the school gym.
Level one at Carbonear Collegiate runs Wednesday morning from 8:20 to 11:00. Levels two and three run 12:30 to 2:17. Buses are running at the regular times. There are regular classes for all students Thursday.
Grades one through five at Harbour Grace Primary begin Wednesday at the regular time. Students are asked to please bring a packed recess and lunch. There is a meeting for kindergarten parents Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 at the school.
